WASHINGTON – Rep. Scott Franklin issued the following statement on Tuesday, April 27th, 2021:
“The allegations that former Secretary of State and current U.S. Envoy for Climate John Kerry may have provided confidential information about Israeli operations to the Iranian government are deeply concerning. The U.S. and Israel have been close allies for decades, and our shared trust is critical to the national security interests of both our nations. Any betrayal of that trust is unacceptable. Should the allegations against Mr. Kerry prove true, he should be removed from the National Security Council and/or have his security clearance revoked.”
