Today, Congressman Scott Franklin (FL-18) issued the following statement after voting in favor of H.R. 1, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, which passed the House by a vote of 215-214:

It roots out waste, fraud and abuse, restores discipline to the budget process and puts America’s long-term interests ahead of short-term politics. We are shifting the focus back to national defense, border security and relief for hardworking families.”
