Congressman Scott Franklin (FL-18) released the following statement in response to the horrific act of political violence in Minnesota:

"I am outraged by the violent killing of lawmakers in Minnesota today."

"There is absolutely no place for violence in our politics. We may disagree, but those disagreements must be resolved through dialogue, not brutality. My heart is with all who are grieving. We must stand united—across party lines—against hate and violence."
